Project Type: Online Training
Client: City of Austin | Circular Economy Program
Year: 2020
The City of Austin’s Circular Economy Program hosted us for a 3-day Educator Training Workshop in Circular and Sustainable Fashion.
The training was aimed at local educators and fashion professionals, and Regenerate’s team – consisting of Melissa O de León, Larissa Roviezzo and Amy Williams – guided participants on identifying opportunities to put circularity into practice, beginning with design and education.

The topics covered in the training agenda included: Connecting responsible materials, SDGs, and design strategies; multiple uses & users for products; business models in different cultural contexts; how to include sustainable behaviors into course work; the importance of value setting for curriculum building, and much more!
We are grateful for the opportunity to offer our methodology in partnership with a government institution, and we are hopeful that this will contribute to a systemic transformation.
